The educational potential at Castell Henllys is vast and a wide range of educational services is provided. Education at Castell Henllys includes an innovative Schools' programme catering for up to seven thousand children every year from two hundred schools from across Wales.

 

Castell Henllys hosts one of the largest training excavations in Britain. For 6 weeks every summer, students from all over the world join in the dig to learn the principles and methods of archaeological excavation directed by the University of York.
